Hello everyone. Liz reminded me of that I'm due for my winter update. So, here's (the better aspects of) my life from the past few months: -I turned 21 in September, so now I can order big girl drinks when I go out and feel sophisticated. -I still suck at math and am being held back in college because of it. -I'm going to be the aunt of a wonderful little nephew in February and I am SO stoked! -I taught myself how to play bass guitar. -I'm giving the regular exercising thing a go; it was going great for a few weeks but then Thanksgiving happened. -My mom asked me to illustrate a series of children's books she's writing. I just randomly noticed I hadn't updated my journal since like, January, so I felt it was necessary to post something different. School basically kicked my butt this semester, so hopefully this next coming one goes a little smoother. I also have some exciting summer plans I can't wait to talk about later as they come closer. As for submitting any art, I don't really have much of a drive for drawing or anything lately, but hopefully I can motivate myself to do something soon. Currently I'm just finishing a short-term job nannying, and training for a 5k I'm running next month with my sister and gorging myself on free food from grad parties.

Yep, Spring semester is upon me. For those who are interested, I'm taking Art Methods: Elementary School, Intermediate Algebra (sobs), First Aid & CPR, Intro to Geology, and Early Education Childhood: Human Relations in a Multicultural Society. Math and EEC will most likely kick my butt (since EEC is also a writing intensive course), but other than that it should be an interesting semester.
